Mark Gauthier is an advertising copywriter specializing in direct-mail magazine promotion. Formerly U.S. Manager of Special Advertising Sections for Time, Circulation Director of Art & Antiques, and Direct Mail Manager for Forbes, he has worked for such publishing clients as Time Inc., Murdoch Magazines, and the Hearst Corporation. He has authored materials published in Time, Forbes, Food & Wine, and Advertising Age, and currently supervises the writing of all of G&G's online CyberSerials(TM). He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from Columbia University, and lectures on copywriting in the New York University Summer Publishing Institute.











Before forming Gauthier & Gilden, Lillian Gilden was with Time, where she ranked as number 1 sales person working in the area of new-business development and special advertising projects for package goods. Prior to that, she was Advertising Director of Homes International, and an Advertising Sales Representative for Avenue. Her specialty is the development non-traditional advertising categories, and draws on a vast network of long-term relationships and contacts within the New York corporate and advertising-agency communities. She attended the University of California at Berkeley and is a graduate of Brooklyn College.
