Evan Janowitz
	He's a tenth-grader at St. Anselm's Academy with a hyperfast modem and a 150 I.Q. — and his parents can't figure out which is more dangerous. An obsessive internet surfer-dude, he's struck up a virtual relationship with a 13-year-old Finnish girl in Helsinki. Evan's desperately trying to get her to upload a picture file of herself so he can see just what he's dealing with. Meanwhile, he's bleary-eyed from the late-night online chat sessions. This concerns his mother Phyllis — but, she thinks, at least he's home at night. And he's learning Finnish. So what could be bad?
