Ano
		Ano is a "beach urchin" who befriends Cy Lefkowitz in Hawaii. A mysterious child of uncertain parentage who seems to appear and disappear with the tides, Ano makes Cy think nostalgically of his own grandson -- whom, tragically, Cy has never met. Ano will incite feelings of protectiveness in Cy, and reawaken his fatherly -- or pehaps grandfatherly -- instincts.
