		Formerly Svetlana Volskanya of Astoria, Lucien's assistant changed her name to the WASP-y Samantha Brooks, rented a shoebox of an apartment in Manhattan, and headed for the top. Granny Myrna, in her nursing home in Sheepshead Bay, likes to brag about her "granddaughter, the movie star" -- but the closest Samantha ever gets to movie stardom is serving as an occasional extra when one of the agency commercial shoots goes on location. Most of her job is stroking egos -- and usually the adult actors are worse than the kids. Chewy Crumbly Cookies? Piece of cake.
